On October 25, 2008, Crawford House celebrated with residents, staff, alumnae, Board of Trustees, and friends from the community 30 years of providing halfway house services to women in early recovery from drugs and alcohol.
The keynote speaker, Raquel Jeffers, Director of the New Jersey Division of Addiction Services, stressed the successes and the resiliency of women who overcome the myriad of circumstances that surround her ability to recover. Highlights from the evening included the heart felt stories told by a current resident and three women who graduated from the program – one 30 years ago when she was 19 years old.
Thank you to everyone who shared this special evening and for all that help to make the magic at Crawford House take place. |
